Veggie & Alma Ze - how they get together so well.

Veggie, veggie & veggie.

Not any kind of tales, tapi k.e.n.y.a.t.a.a.n bahawa kanak kanak memang susah nak makan sayur.
Face it.
Hate it or like it - memang some parents find it quite challenging to get their kids to eat vegetables.

I believe neither parents who love vegetables will have their kids sharing the same bowl nor parents who don't love vegetables will have kids who never fancy veggies at all.
It only takes a lil effort to get our kids to eat veggies - keep trying and have fun with it.

In my case, I would say I am pretty much a lucky mother to have a daughter who is not a fussy eater at all.
Seriously, Alma memang makan segalanya. She loves to eat and trying new taste.
She loves vegetables, in all colors - purple, green, red and orange. Bayam, sawi, kobis, timun, kangkung, terung, lobak, tomato, kacang panjang, bendi, broccoli and to name a few..

Semua ibubapa seharusnya tahu dan faham kepentingan sayur kepada anak anak dan cuba lebih kreatif untuk menarik minat anak anak untuk menyukai sayur sayuran, Bukankah tanggungjawab kita untuk menjaga kesihatan dan memastikan yang terbaik untuk anak anak kita?

Oh, I'd like to share a tip on how to get kids to recover from fever, cough and flu - faster.
Change their menu of the day to veggie soup, make sure you mix variety of vegetables such as spinach, carrot, broccoli, tomato and etc..
And make sure you serve vegetables for snacks, 2 - 3 times a day. Do not boil to soften the veggies, better still steam it as it is way more n.u.t.r.i.t.i.o.u.s. Enjoy!

Alma..!! Mother dapat jugak cari toothpaste yang you suka tu. Alhamdulillah.. :) 

Memang susah nak dapat, tapi mother usaha jugak. Never give up seeking and questing anything for you, darling! Setiap kali jumpa pharmacy, mesti mother akan hop in. Ada ke, tak ada ke, belakang cerita. And nak dijadikan cerita, hari ni masa mother and Aunty Izan pergi Giant, nak beli barang you for our picnic, ternampak Guardian and as usual mother pun buat lawatan rasmi (lagipun nak beli sun-block for you), zass...mother nampak something down at the very bottom shelf! Actually langkah kaki dah ke hadapan menuju ke cashier counter tau, tapi ekor mata masih melirik ke belakang, kindda afraid that I might overlooked on something, and this time mother sure need not to ask for it - because I saw it!! :) yippie!!  The staff told me the stock just arrived days ago, delayed on certain reasons. No wonder I could not find it for such a period. Coincidentally, the temp toothpaste you're using is finishing, right timing ya!

Whatever it is, enjoy your time brushing your teeth :)

Once you figured it out, that's it. You 'd go on, over and over. Kind of serious at that!

Listen Alma.. yes - Abah is one kind of a man. The kind who manage to fix things and get it done, when there is no one else could make it, he is the man. The kind who make complicated things much easier. The kind who make others think that nothing is impossible. The one who helps to solve problem faster. The one that many especially in our family, seek for his hand. You know what I meant? No?? Okay, go google this. Already? Got it? Yes, that's what I meant. Abah is our MacGyver. I simply have no worry whenever he is with me. He always have his way. He always make things work. He always impress others. Not that Abah is a perfect man on earth, tapi ada keistimewaannya. Itu ialah anugerah Allah kepada Abah. Oh Wan yang panggil Abah MacGyver tau!

Now Alma, since you were a baby, Wan and I have always caught you doing stuff that a baby should not be doing. As a grandmother of 20 grandkids, Wan indeed has years of experience observing each and every little ones, and  simply could have predict her grandkid's behavior. So, same goes to you. Wan observes your moves, your behaviors, just everything. and you tahu tak apa Wan cakap tentang you? Well after intimately saving and spending her days and weeks with you, (yes, kita selalu balik kmapung Wan - seronok tau!), Wan beritahu mother yang you ni suka buat kerja godeh sana, godeh sini, screw sana, unscrew sini, adjust sana, modify sini, just like Abah when he was a tot. 

And today, I too have come to a conclusion that memang you ni ada sikit ikut perangai Abah. I really don't mind darling, but look, you are a girl, Alma. Yes, I want you to be tough and rough, not the very girlie kind, I hope, but darling, kalau dah sampai ke tahap you gegarkan katil (by hopping, jumping, pillow fighting and barney fighting), sampai katil bergerak tho' I already have locked its wheels! The next thing - you gathered all strength to twist the crossbars, sedaya upaya, sekuat kudrat you, berjaya juga tanggalkan palang palang tu, eeishhhh... I was completely speechless. Slowly but surely, you removed the crossbars, one by one.. but as you knew that it was supposed to be fixed, thus you tried to tack them altogether, in anyways. Yes, you tried very hard. You stood up, sat down, you lied down for a while as you felt tired, but you proceeded into work soon after that. 

How efficient! :)

By the time you tried to tack the bars altogether, to insert each components to its place, unexpectedly the whole 

piece of the drop side fell on the floor!! Thanks God for your fingers weren't trapped between the pieces. fuuhhhh.....!! Had only the bottom half of the crossbar, made all your effort - to get out of the crib, much easier kan! hehehe... Just in less than a minute, you got yourself out of the crib and happily teased me and Tok' Mak. grrr!! so action eh dapat keluar dari katil sendiri, with your mata sepet, big teeth and hidung pesek you, your face were glowing happily, merrily! hahahahhaha  

Well we both simply couldn't bothered to stop you because you're in the phase of exploring and learning. As long as I'm there, by your side, observing you and protecting you, you are free to explore and learn things surrounding. It's your freedom, baby! Now, look at you doing the things that makes me go hmmmm....
